Embark on a journey that will transport you thousands of years back in time, to the heart of a civilization that continues to fascinate the world. Over 8 days and 7 nights, you will explore the treasures of Cairo and sail down the legendary Nile River, discovering temples, tombs, and landscapes that seem to come from another era.
Day 1: Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, Spanish-speaking assistance at the airport before passport control. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 2: Cairo
Breakfast. Half-day tour of the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure; the Great Sphinx; and the Valley Temple of Khafre (does not include entrance to the interior of the pyramids). Return to the hotel and overnight stay. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Necropolis of Saqqara and the City of Memphis, capital of the Old Kingdom. In the evening, optional visit to the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza.
Day 3: Cairo / Luxor
Half board. Free day or direct flight to Luxor. Optional full-day visit to the city of Cairo; the Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Citadel of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the Coptic Quarter, and the Khan El-Khalili Market. Transfer to Cairo International Airport and domestic flight to Luxor. Arrival in Luxor. Transfer to the boat. In the afternoon, visit the East Bank in Luxor; the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Return to the boat. Night on board.
Day 4: Luxor / Esna/ Edfu
Full board. In the morning, visit the West Bank in Luxor; the Necropolis of Thebes; the Valley of the Kings; the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as El-Deir El-Bahari; and the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna. We will cross the Esna Lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Night on board.
Day 5: Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
Full board. Arrival in Edfu and visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the god Horus. Navigation to Kom Ombo. Arrival in Kom Ombo and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the only one dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Navigation to Aswan. Night on board.
Day 6: Aswan
Full board. Optional excursion to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel. In the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae. In the afternoon, take a trip on a felucca (traditional Egyptian sailing boat) along the Nile, where you can admire and enjoy panoramic views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Gardens. Night on board.
Day 7: Aswan / El Cairo
Breakfast and disembarkation. At the appointed time, transfer to Aswan International Airport and domestic flight back to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo. Transfer to the hotel. Optional visit to a buffet dinner with a folkloric show on a floating boat on the Nile River. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 8: El Cairo
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo International Airport, Spanish-speaking assistance at the airport. End of our services.
